So I always do a couple of photoshoots with my own kids during the holidays. My mom likes to have pics for her cards, and they always seem to be dressing up for one occasion or another. So on this day I had a client photoshoot in the park, and I thought it would be good to throw some holiday clothes on them and bring them along, with my husband of course to try and help out. What you see might look familiar to you. Did you know our kids cry, scream, don't listen, and don't look at the camera too? That's right. So I thought I would post a few pics of "reality" before you get the "good" ones in the mail! Enjoy!

In the end there were a few good ones.

Can't wait for the next one! I think it will go a lot better!

This weekend Josephine's school had their 2nd annual Fall Carnival! It was so fun despite the fact that it was super chilly and even rained on us a bit. This is the second year I put on a Photo Booth for Josephine's Class. With the help of a ton a people we set up a cute backdrop, took pictures, printed them, cut them to fit these really cute carnival frames, then also handed them out. It was a lot of work, but we had a great time hanging out all day, while the kids played and had fun.

Happy Halloween!!! We hope you have a very ghoulish Halloween weekend! We had the pleasure of going to a fantastically frightful haunted Halloween party at the Milk and Honey Farms in Santa Barbara. It was super scary with its haunted house and full sized graveyard, plus the electric chair and all the scary ghouls running amuck. I love this time of year! We visit so many pumpkin patches all throughout Ventura and Ojai. I just love the innocence and childhood memories these days conjure up. I love making new memories for both my clients and my own children. Enjoy some of these pumpkin patch cuties!
