A Charming Easter Party

I know Easter is long over with but I wanted to post the most charming Easter party I shot last month! I had the pleasure of working with the sweetest gals from Bon Fortune, specializing in party planning and favors, and Ruby and Romeo, floral and tabletop design. Two obviously talented ladies. This party was AMAZING!! The tablescapes were gorgeous and the kids were in Easter heaven! So fun! Take a look!!

A High School Workshop

I am so thrilled to be doing a workshop for a local HS, OVS! (Hey guys!) As some of you might now I was actually a high school teacher for about 6yrs before I had kids and started my photo business! I am super excited to head back and have a little workshop to show the kids behind the scenes of what I do! Hopefully we'll have a lot of fun, shoot a bunch of pics, and maybe even learn a bit. (shh!)

Santa Barbara Parent Click Expo and the Janie and Jack Photo Event

I have had such a busy week! It started with the Parent Click Expo in Santa Barbara. What a great turn out!! I took a ton of pics at my photobooth. It was a hit!!! If you would like to see your pictures, I will be posting them in my boutique. Check back here this weekend for your pics, or feel free to contact me! If you missed the expo and your free photobooth pictures, don't worry! There will be another Parent Click Expo in Ventura on March 17th. Come see me then!

I also had a great turnout for the Janie and Jack Photography Event. ALL the kids were sooo adorable, and their Janie and Jack outfits were to die for!! I of course wanted every outfit for my kids! GREAT for Easter and upcoming Spring sessions!

Janie and Jack Photoshoot Event

How many of you are fans of the Janie and Jack children's boutique? I am!! So I am so excited to be apart of their upcoming photo event. This is an event put on by Precious Time Photography. They employ photographers from all over the country to participate in this photo event at your local Janie and Jack. The event I will be shooting will be held at the Janie and Jack location at La Cumbre Plaza in Santa Barbara. To participate you must spend $75 and then you will receive a COMPLEMENTARY sitting fee and 8x10. The dates to shop are from now will March 4th. If there is an open space the days of the event and you spend $75 in store you can also participate.

The dates of the Janie and Jack photo event will be March 6-7th. You can contact the store for more details.

I am loving the new timeline on Facebook. There are of course Facebook issues everyone has, but I LOVE the large format picture you get at the top. It is like your own personal blog header. This can be such a great spot to showcase your latest family pictures. Here are a few that I have done for my most recent clients, and my own of course! If you have recently had a session with me and you would like one for your FB page, let me know!

Happy Valentine's everyone! I love this little holiday! It is such a great time to show everyone you love them. Today I will be having a little special V-day dinner. To carry on our childhood tradition, I will be making heart shaped meatloaf and giving the kids special little Valentine's Day presents too. Maybe the hubs and I will go to a movie this weekend, but I think now that we have a family, I like to be all together for this special day.

Here is a little snippet of the fun we had at our Valentine's Day Mini's last year. These kids were so sweet! I like to do something different every year and this year is no exception. I can't wait to set up our candy & cupcake table, kissing booth, and our sweet pom poms. I have a bunch of other vendors involved this year that will make it super special as well!
